Job Description
· Services existing accounts, obtains
orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work
schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
·
Keeps management informed by submitting
activity and results reports, such as daily reports, weekly work plans, and
monthly and annual territory analyses.
·
Monitors competition by gathering
current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery
schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
·
Resolve customer complaints regarding
sales and service.
·
Monitor customer preferences to
determine focus of sales efforts.
·
Direct and coordinate activities of sales,
collection and delivery teams.
·
Recommend price schedules and discount
rates to company management
·
Review operational records and reports
to project sales.
·
Confer or consult with department heads
to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and
customer specifications.
·
Advise dealers and distributors on policies
and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
·
Plan and direct staffing, training, and
performance evaluations to develop and control sales team.
